Privacy Policy
Cite Solutions takes privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. If you have questions that this page does not answer, email hello@cite.solutions.
Information we collect
We collect three categories of information. Visitor analytics: when you visit cite.solutions we record standard server logs (IP address, browser, referrer, pages visited, timestamps) and page-level analytics through Google Analytics 4. We do not link this data to identifiable individuals unless you submit a form.
Form submissions: when you submit our discovery-call or contact form, we collect the fields you provide (typically name, work email, company, website, and any message text). We store these submissions in our customer relationship management system to respond and follow up.
Client data: during engagements we receive data clients share with us (prompt sets, brand assets, competitor lists, internal performance data). We treat this as confidential under the engagement agreement.
How we use information
We use information for four purposes:
- To respond to inquiries and run discovery calls.
- To deliver services under signed engagement agreements.
- To improve cite.solutions content and user experience through aggregate analytics.
- To send occasional research and product updates to subscribers who explicitly opt in.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect payment information through cite.solutions. We do not sell visitor or client data to third parties under any circumstances. We do not use third-party advertising networks that profile site visitors.
Cookies and tracking
cite.solutions uses cookies for two purposes: to remember session preferences (light or dark mode, accepted notices) and to support Google Analytics 4. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting site functionality.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services in our operations:
- Vercel for site hosting and edge delivery.
- Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site analytics.
- Google Search Console for search analytics.
- Email and CRM tools to manage discovery-call inquiries and ongoing client communication.
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We limit data sharing to what is necessary to deliver our services.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Email hello@cite.solutions from the email address associated with the data and we will respond within 30 days. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR; we honor those for all visitors regardless of location.
Data retention
We retain visitor analytics for 14 months. Form submissions are retained for as long as the relationship is active plus two years. Client engagement data is retained per the terms of the signed engagement agreement and securely destroyed after the agreed retention period.
Updates to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The "Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are announced through site banners and to active subscribers.
