Quick Commerce is the first vertical in the index where the leaders are not fighting for share; they are fighting for differentiation inside a saturated answer.
When three brands all clear 96% SoV, AI search has stopped functioning as a discovery surface and started functioning as a list-recall surface — the prompt returns the same trio in the same order, and the only real lever left is which name lands first.
That makes engine asymmetry the entire game: Blinkit owns ChatGPT and AI Mode, Zepto owns Gemini, and the AEO question for the next 90 days is whether Zepto can break ChatGPT or whether Blinkit can break Gemini.
For BB Now and Flipkart Minutes the picture is harder — they are present but rank-locked at 4 and 5, and their citation backbone leans on logistics-trade domains rather than the consumer press that lifts the top three.
Tata Neu is, on the evidence of day one, not in the AI conversation about quick commerce at all.
